Keith Koster – Artistic Director

Keith has been singing with Reveille Men’s Chorus since 2013 and served as Assistant Director until 2020. He has served as vocal coach of Reverb since her inception in 2014. Reverb continues to wow audiences through community outreach partnerships and collaborations in Tucson. Reverb’s debut to a standing room only crowd at GALA Festival in Denver this past summer drew raves and critical acclaim.
Now a retired educator for Amphi Schools, Keith taught chorus and musical theater to middle and high school students for nearly 20 years. He is Creative Worship Director, accompanist and bandleader for Shelter at Saguaro Christian Church, designing and creating worship weekly, bringing ancient and modern together for a unique and experiential worship experience.

He is founder and past Artistic Director of Great Lakes Men’s Chorus in southeastern Michigan and past Artistic Director of Desert Voices where collaborations, commissions and touring were key. He served on the GALA Board for four years, his legacy being the creation of youth policies to include GLBTQ youth in GALA Choruses and events. These policies led to the creation of several queer youth choruses around the nation.
Keith is an active member of Arizona Educators Association, American Choral Directors Association and Association of Disciples Musicians.

Dr. Kyungsun Choi – Accompanist/Coach

Dr. Kyungsun Choi has been praised in the press as “a great energetic pianist” (Arizona Daily Star) and “a pianist with rich emotion and sensitivity” (The Korean Arizona Times). He has been enjoying varied careers as a soloist, chamber musician, an accompanist and a teacher.  A native of Seoul, South Korea, Pianist Kyungsun Choi graduated from the Yonsei University in Seoul, where he earned Bachelor’s degrees (BM) in Piano Performance and was awarded as “High Honored Student” by the president. He went on to the University of Northern Iowa on a full scholarship where he received a Masters of Music (MM) and served as a graduate teaching assistant. He received a Doctoral degree (DMA) in Piano Performance at the University of Arizona and served as a graduate teaching assistant. His teachers have included Dr. Paula Fan, Prof. Sean Botkin, Prof. Myonghak Lee, and Hyeran Lee.

As a teacher, his students have been appearing as prize winners at many competitions.

TJ Steib – Chorus Manager

TJ joined the chorus as a singer after moving to Tucson from Honolulu. During his first season, he stepped up to position of chorus manager as a way of continuing to support the chorus. He sang with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Hawaii (GMCofH) in the past and knows firsthand that music can indeed change lives. TJ most recently played a part on the Honolulu International Film Festival’s programming team and, once upon a time, worked developing toys for The Disney Store. TJ wasted no time in joining the folks with the Tucson International Film Festival and has been very active in the annual event.

Recently TJ took the opportunity to return to Honolulu. Due to his growing experience with video conferencing and remote management of the chorus, Reveille has embraced his staying with the Chorus in an administrative capacity from his remote oasis. He always looks forward to helping the Artistic Team get their concepts out to the world.
